War of Kings - Update 5

I made the Options today, and I got started on the save codes and whatnot.
Right now the save codes are super simple, and I have yet to make them cheat-proof, but at least they're there.

I plan to have waaay more buttons on the Options menu, such as "Enter Game Code", "Music On/Off", "Sound Effects On/Off", "Achievements" and "Credits", but all that will have to come later seeing as I'm wiped out from yesterday's intense weapons bar work.
Speaking of which...

THE SLINGSHOT!
The slingshot is the third weapon on the list, and it's pretty cool. It basically fires giant water balloons at enemies. And remember: There are ten weapons FOR EACH KING! That's twenty weapons, (seventeen if you don't count the ones I've finished so far)! Each weapon takes a while to set up, and that's just on the weapons bar alone. COMPLETELY setting up each weapon is even tougher, since all twenty weapons need to be able to be set up next to the advancing enemies in four different directions. That's eighty different sprites, just for positioning weapons! Isn't that insane?!?! I'm seriously considering halving the weapons to just five, however I'm hesitant since the payoff is pretty cool, that is, twenty different weapons to unlock, all of them awesome and unique...
But then again five weapons isn't bad either and it WOULD be a big help... I don't know, I'll have to think about it some more.

The last thing I did was get rid of that annoying selection thing over the icon when you click it. It looked ugly, and it was kind of insulting. I mean, you not only need to have a highlight, but little thingies in the corner to remind you that you've selected an item?!

Yeeesh.

Anyway, that's all for now. Check my Scratch page on Monday for the new update!
